1972 RHD VW T2 Campervan Bay Window with pop-up roof in Exmouth, Devon for sale
Very reluctantly I am now selling my super RHD 1972 VW T2 Bay window Devon Westfalia Campervan. It’s comfortable with a new 3/4 rock ‘n’ roll bed fitted along with new upholstery, etc. I wanted to keep as many of the original features as possible - so the new interior closely resembles the old style. I kept the original sink and gas cooker/ oven and grill. Still has the original hammocks! All new electrics with a CD player/ cigarette lighter / hook-up/ new battery and leisure battery / sockets/ electric water pump and a new Screen washer bottle, etc. The pop-up roof is original and not in bad condition considering the age! A new Porta potty and chemicals. I have a JustKampers breathable Cover for the van. Also, the Thermo mat set - to keep the heat in/out and for privacy. A set of handmade curtains. Plus numerous accessories that I’ll include with the van, e.g. levelling chocks, a picnic table, electric extension lead, etc. So basically everything you need to set off to that Festival!! We’ve had a great few summers in the van visiting local festivals, campsites, etc, and would like someone else now to enjoy them as much as we have. On the bodywork side of things there are a few bubbles of rust that have come through over the winter that will need attention. The van is now running the best it has done since I’ve had it - last year the engine was taken out to repair an oil leak and a few other minor things have been done to it. Please note that ALL work on the van has been carried out by a local garage who have said they will be happy to answer any technical/ mechanical questions you may have!
